Waking Up, Being Present
6 Mondays: Fall 2012 course dates TBA
Time: 7 – 9 pm.
Fee: $100. for the 6 sessions
Location: 2260 Naramata Rd., on the Naramata Bench, 10 minutes from Penticton.
This course is based on the Buddhist Dzogchen teachings, which I have been a student of since 1993. It is a 6 session course, offered 2 or 3 times a year, intended to help those wishing to establish a regular meditation practice leading to Presence, a state of open-hearted, relaxed and wide-awake ongoing awareness, sometimes known as rigpa, or the non-dual state. Following the course, there is additional training available for those wishing to continue their committment to this practice. Private sessions are also available. I have taught new and intermediate level meditation students in Toronto and in the Okanagan since 1999.
To register: please mail a cheque payable to Sharon Wiener, along with your email address and telephone number to: 114-1475 Fairview Rd., Penticton, BC, V2A 7W5.
To request a flyer with more information about the course, please email sharonw27@shaw.ca, or call (250) 496-4100.
“You must learn one thing.
The world was made to be free in.
Give up all the other worlds
Except the one to which you belong.”
